Who I Am

The Story So Far

I'm Hamza Asal — a software developer, but that's not where I started. Before writing a line of code professionally, I worked in customer service, drove deliveries, and spent time in food service at Texas Chicken and Al Tirawi Roastery. None of it was software, but it taught me patience, adaptability, and how to keep moving when things don't go as planned.

After graduating, I joined Digital Gates as a Software Developer — the start of my career in tech. Since then I've kept building: projects, experiments, demos, ideas that never shipped and a few that did. Not everything I make gets published, but every one of them has pushed me a little further.

Asal Works is where that journey comes together — the things I build, the things I write about, and the person behind both. My next project, What Happened Today, is already in the works.
